We are a family owned and operated full service insurance agency. Jo-Mil Insurance Agency was established in 1965 by Joseph A Tavernese Sr. in Glen Cove, NY.

Joseph's wife Mildred work to assist in the day to day operations of the agency and hence the name "Jo-Mil" came out of this relationship.

Joseph felt that there was a need for a Insurance professional to provide customer service to the local residents concerning their insurance needs.

Since then the agency continued to grow year after year predominantly through word of mouth and a friendly knowledgeable staff.
